"Sugar is the Devil"

This is a quote from the book Skinny Bitch. So, for the next 26 days I am ridding my diet of sugar/sweets. I want to see if sugar really is the devil and see how my body feels eating significantly less sugar. Now, you must remember that I grew up in a house where my mother made carmel icing cake for birthdays/every occasion she could make the excuse (literally made with sugar, cream and butter) and ate brown sugar by the spoon full! Well I hate to say it but the apple does not fall far from the tree (I do not hate to say it, I love my mom, just hate the sugar tooth I inherited). So, needless to say this is a big challenge I have ahead of me. So wish me luck and I let you know what I think.

Wishing you luck.
And VOMIT--I hope you aren't inspired by Skinny Bitch, that book not only told me sugar is the Devil, but that I am essentially the devil because I consume almost everything they say not to (see also: Diet Coke, red meat, and beer). hahaha.
But I am 150% inspired by this and will (attempt) to do the same.
Love you girl.

At least you didnt inherit dads salt lick tooth like me...yeah for a future of high blood pressure. And yes, sugar is the devil! I think you should reward yourself with a vegan, agave sweetened cupcake from whole foods! yummy!

Good girl!! I'm on a 21-Day cleanse and eliminating sugar myself. I always feel SO MUCH better!! go girlfriend. Check out http://www.yogimichelle.com for my cleanse, under 21-Day Holiday Detox. Skinny Bitch has some things right, but there are still discrepancies.
